Regularly scheduled Council meetings are held on the second Thursday of January each year and then every third Thursday following for the remainder of the year.

Effective September 28, 2017, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami has gone to a Committee of the Whole meeting system.  Please see the link to the new procedure by-law below.  The meeting dates above have been changed to reflect the new schedule. 

Council meetings are held in the Welcome Centre theatre, located at 7 Lakeshore Drive, Temagami and commence at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted. Agendas and supporting information packages for regular meetings are posted by 4:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the meeting.

Special meetings may be called as required.  In which case, notice of such meetings will be posted two working days in advance of the meeting.

Individuals who make submissions to Council should be aware that any personal information in their communications may become part of the public record, unless otherwise stated, and may be made available through the Council agenda process which includes publication on the Municipality’s website.
